Day one Arrive at Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens Enjoy lunch included at the Merriweather Café upon arrival followed by a guided mansion tour and self-guided garden tour. The mansion is the former home of cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post and features one of the most comprehensive collections of eighteenth and nineteenth-century Russian Imperial art outside of Russia, as well as an extensive collection of eighteenth-century French decorative arts. The greenhouse and formal gardens are set among 25 acres of wooded hillsides located in the heart of Washington, D.C. Enjoy dinner DC this evening before checking into th Bethesda Marriott. Day 2 Visit The People’s House: A White House Experience before a photo op at the White House. A Stop at The National World War I Memorial before lunch on your own at the Reagan Building/International Trade Center Food Court. After lunch arrive at the Tidal Basin for a Pink Stroll and photo opportunity among the Japanese cherry trees (blossoms pending nature’s timing and cannot be guaranteed). These trees are the 1912 gift to the city of Washington of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to enhance the growing friendship between the United States and Japan and celebrate the continued close relationship between our two peoples. Stop by The Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial, The Jefferson Memorial, The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, The Korean War Veterans Memorial, The National World War II Memorial and the Eisenhower Memorial. Enjoy included dinner this evening before a night at the JFK Center for the Performing Arts. Walk through The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for a spectacular view of the city from the terrace and see the famous bronze bust of John F Kennedy in the grand foyer. Show begins! The National Symphony Orchestra – Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7. NSO Principal Trumpet William Gerlach takes center stage in one of the most celebrated pieces of his instrument’s repertoire—Haydn’s sparkling Trumpet Concerto. Day 3, Arrive for the Cherry Blossom Parade! View the Cherry Blossom Parade from our Premium-Preferred Grandstand Seating. Your preferred vantage point will secure you up-close encounters with celebrity appearances and performances. After the Parade, enjoy lunch on your own at the National Portrait Gallery’s Café or at one of the many restaurants located in Penn Quarter. Board the Odyssey III Cruise Ship. Enjoy your Cherry Blossom Cruise, a “Pink Party Exclusive Event” upon the Potomac onboard the Odyssey III Cruise Ship. Onboard enjoy a welcome Signature Pink Drink, a narrative cruise of the sites along the river, dancing to our live entertainment, and a delicious meal! Enjoy a free evening at The Wharf. This remarkable, mile-long stretch along the Potomac River comes to life with restaurants, retailers, residences, and businesses—all complemented by monumental views and a vibrant culture. Day 4, visit your choice of the Smithsonian Institution’s Museums on the National Mall. Enjoy included dinner before a truly unique experience. Explore The Mansion on O Street, an American luxury boutique hotel in the Dupont Circle historic district of Washington D.C. The hotel is noted for eccentric interior styling which includes hidden doors, secret passages, and rooms in which all furnishings and fixtures are for sale. Be sure to pay special attention to spot a secret door or two. Tour includes an introduction and Q&A about the Mansion. Continue with a self-guided journey through the uniquely themed rooms and secret doors. Day 4, Tour President Lincoln’s Cottage. Located on a picturesque hilltop in Washington, DC, President Lincoln's Cottage is the most significant historic site directly associated with Lincoln's presidency aside from the White House. During the Civil War, President Lincoln and his family resided here from June to November of 1862, 1863 and 1864. All totaled, Lincoln lived here for a quarter of his presidency.
