Get in the holiday spirit as you explore the Hershey/Harrisburg area. Your first day will begin at Stone Gable Estate. Tour the National Christmas Center newly relocated to Stone Gables Estate. The center has 17 Foot-Tall Stores and Storefronts causing Awe & Wonder as you explore this Treasure-Trove of Celebration. Next you will board the Harrisburg, Lincoln & Lancaster Railroad Train where you will tour around the property showing the most picturesque locations at Stone Gables Estate. Finally, enjoy the Grand Dame the Star Barn decked out for Christmas and enjoy the first part of the light show on your arrival. Cocktail hour kicks off the evening as you discover the outbuildings and gift shop. Dinner hour is a delicious buffet. Entertainment ends the evening with the highest quality musicians and world renowned Irish Tenors. You will enjoy the last part of the light show as you exit the dinner. Check in to our hotel. The following day you will enjoy a guided tour of the PA State Capital where your expert escort points out the artistic and architectural highlights. The PA Capitol is considered to be the most ornate Capitol building in the United States. On October 4, 1906, President Teddy Roosevelt came to Harrisburg for the building’s dedication and was quoted, “It’s the handsomest building I ever saw.” Hershey Time! This afternoon you will enjoy a Trolley Tour with a highly knowledgeable and entertaining conductor who will take you through the Hershey of today, then jump back all the way to a time before there was a town, or a chocolate factory, or even chocolate in America for that matter. You then journey through the inspiring life of Milton Hershey, visiting the historical sites of town he created, and tasting the chocolate that made him famous. We end with an exclusive, spectacular view of the Sweetest Place on Earth from the “Welcome to Hershey” hill. Next, Chocolate World to stock up on Hershey treats, enjoy the “hershey chocolate ride” and MAKE YOUR OWN HERSHEY BAR! After freshening up at the hotel you will enjoy dinner at a wonderful local Italian restaurant and enjoy a ride through Sweet Lights. This two-mile Christmas light attraction is a holiday tradition for many families in the Mid-Atlantic region. Your last day you will enjoy exploring the Hershey History Museum where the story of Milton S. Hershey and the town that bears his name is presented through informative museum exhibits and interactive experiences. Lunch will be enjoyed in Colombia, PA before you create your own ICE CREAM in the tasting Lab at Turkey Hill Experience.
