Pittsburgh City Tour, Fallingwater and Flight 93 Memorial

July 14-17, 2024

Your first day will include a stop at the Flight 93 Memorial and Visitor Center enroute to Pittsburgh. Once we arrive in Pittsburgh you will check in to the hotel before enjoying a Sunset Cruise on the Gateway Clipper featuring the fabulous sunset dinner buffet, a DJ, and the beautiful sights as the sun sets over the river. The following day learn about Pittsburgh aboard a two hour trolley ride that makes four stops:

- the Duquesne Incline, Mr. Rogers Tribute to Children, PPG Place, and the Sweetest Corner in Pittsburgh. You will cruise through the Golden Triangle, the North Shore Sports District, the Cultural District, Gateway Center, PNC Plaza, Market Square, Grant Street, and the Strip. Your trolley ride will end at the Strip District for lunch and shopping on your own. I recommend Primanti Bros. with world known sandwiches. Enjoy dinner at the HOFBRÄUHAUS PITTSBURGH BREWERY & RESTAURANT with great food and a unique experience. Day 3 you will experience a guided tour of Fallingwater,  a National Historic Landmark and a site inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Gain insights into Wright’s organic architecture and design philosophy, and discover the beauty of Fallingwater and its natural landscape. Box lunch will be enjoyed before we experience the National Aviary. A trip to the nation's bird zoo allows you to step into lush, free-flying bird habitats with a guided tour and Bird Show! Your final evening…enjoy dinner at the Grand Concourse overlooking the Monongahela River and the downtown skyline.
