Discover the elegant rooms of the Estate with eight professionally decorated Christmas trees, twinkling balustrades, festive mantels, over nine 1895 fireplaces, and the exhibition of period fashions, worn by the ladies of Cairnwood. You will enjoy Holiday Tea Service in the Cairnwood Estate with a three-course Holiday Tea featuring premium teas from master blender Harney & Sons, along with traditional tea sandwiches, soup of the day, a seasonal salad, family-style scones served with clotted cream and jams, and an assortment of Christmas cookies. Next, be amazed by the Glencairn Museum. Glencairn Museum hosts an annual "Christmas at Glencairn" event featuring the "World Nativities Exhibition". This exhibition showcases a diverse collection of nearly 50 nativity scenes from around the world, highlighting the various ways artists interpret this traditional Christmas display. Experience a guided tour of the Cathedral that will tell of the ever-evolving representation of a faith much like the community it serves, a manifestation of organic beauty, that is highlighted in the religious symbolism of the building.
